For those who wish to receive Christian-based counseling, Dr. Adams will incorporate Biblical principles/teaching and prayer into the therapeutic journey. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) looks into the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. With cognitive-behavioral therapy, Dr. Adams can help you identify maladaptive thinking patterns and how thoughts and feelings affect your behaviors. Acceptance and Commitment Thearpy (ACT) is an action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that stems from a combination of clinical behavior analysis and cognitive behavioral therapy

 

                                                    Solution Focused Therapy

                                                          

Solution Focused Therapy is a type of therapy that helps the client to solve their own problems, needs, and goals. The therapist provides questions to help the client develop solutions to their own unique goals.


                                      

                                                          

 Based upon neuroscience research, TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TRBI uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting principles for attachment needs, and Correcting principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. Dr. Adams is a TBRI practitioner.
